Weddings are whirlwinds. Weird, fun whirlwinds. But there are 100 or more little moments throughout the day that make the madness stop and time stands still. Then it’s off again.
An odd part of being the wedding photographer is having so much access to two people who are experiencing the most meaningful and romantic day of their life. That sounds creepy when I say it that way. What I mean is that it’s a privilege that a couple can trust you enough to essentially let you hound them for photos all day long when they would rather enjoy their day or just have something cold to drink.
Sydney and Aaron are rad. They were great to work with and fun to be around. Sydney was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed two years ago and called us to come back to the Los Angeles area for her wedding. The couple were sealed at the Los Angeles Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held a killer reception full of color in Simi Valley.
Twas a good long whirlwind.
